Baking and cooking influencer Sally Özcan (37) can look forward to numerous congratulations after announcing her pregnancy. Many prominent colleagues also immediately reached out with kind words - including several faces from the "Let's Dance" family. Özcan had participated in the RTL show in 2023.
"Our family is growing"
On Saturday evening, the kitchen expert published the sweet news on her Instagram account. "There's a little secret that we finally want to share with you. Our family is growing", Özcan wrote alongside several pictures showing her beaming with her new partner, ultrasound images, and baseball caps with the inscriptions "Mom" and "Dad".
Although she is already a mother of two daughters, the 37-year-old describes the pregnancy as something completely new. "Although I'm already a mom, this pregnancy after 16 and 11 years feels like the very first one - exciting, emotional, and simply wonderful".
The comment section under the post quickly filled up. "GZSZ" star Chryssanthi Kavazi wrote: "I'm freaking out!!! What beautiful news." Boxer Regina Halmich declared: "I'm happy for you." Mola Adebisi's wife Adelina Zilai commented: "Oh how lovely. Congratulations." Yoga star Mady Morrison gushed: "Your radiance!!! So happy for you, sweethearts!" Food colleague Stefano Zarrella emphasized: "I'm so so so happy for you! Wishing you only the best, big sister."
Author Sebastian Fitzek gushed about "how wonderful" and TV chef Ralf Zacherl found the baby news "marvelous". The hosts Rebecca Mir, Jennifer Knäble and Selfiesandra as well as Patrice Aminati also sent congratulations like many others. "Taff" host Christian Düren, who is himself expecting his first child with Amira Aly, also reached out with a "Congratulations".
The "Let's Dance" judges Motsi Mabuse and Jorge González are already congratulating as well, as are dancers Christina Hänni, Patricija Ionel and Regina Luca.
Headlines after her divorce
Sally Özcan is one of the country's most influential food influencers. Her YouTube channel "Sallys Welt" has more than two million followers, plus around 1.3 million followers on Instagram. She became known to a broader television audience in 2023 when she competed in the 16th season of "Let's Dance". At her side danced professional Massimo Sinató, the husband of Rebecca Mir.
Shortly after her time on the dance show, Özcan caused a stir with a private announcement. She made the end of her marriage public. She had been married to her husband Murat for 16 years, and the relationship produced their two daughters. However, the separation did not go smoothly, with mutual public accusations. In January 2026, Sally then publicly announced that she was in a relationship again. However, the identity of her partner is not known, and even in the pictures announcing the pregnancy, his face cannot be seen.
