They have been a couple for 25 years, nine of them engaged: Now Czech supermodel Eva Herzigova (53) and businessman Gregorio Marsiaj have finally tied the knot. For their big day, they chose the Italian city of Turin.

Two ceremonies in one day

The wedding day began with the couple according to the Italian newspaper "La Repubblica" exchanging their vows at the Church of San Vito. This was followed by a trip to Palazzo Carignano, where the civil ceremony took place in the historic Sala dei Plebisciti. Later, they celebrated with a dinner at Del Cambio, one of the city's Michelin-starred restaurants.

Herzigova wore a floor-length white dress by fashion house Lanvin for the festivities. The design featured a plunging neckline, pleated fabric layers, and flowing cape sleeves. Her blonde hair was styled in an updo. Groom Marsiaj appeared in a dark suit with a light gray tie and white boutonniere.

Family and friends as guests

The bride and groom were accompanied by their three sons George, Philipe and Edward, as well as a close circle of family and friends. Among the guests was supermodel Carmen Kass.

Herzigova and Marsiaj met in 2001 in the Italian coastal town of Varigotti. The couple got engaged in 2017. For Herzigova, this is her second marriage. In 1996, she married Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres in New Jersey; that union was dissolved two years later.

Face of the 90s

Herzigova became famous in 1994 through the Wonderbra campaign "Hello Boys". Together with colleagues like Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista, she defined the golden age of supermodels. Throughout her career, Herzigova walked the most important runways and worked with fashion houses such as Chanel, Dior, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier.
