Enormous joy among the British royals! Princess Eugenie (36) announced on August 4 that she has become a mother again. The cousin of Prince William (44) and Prince Harry (41), who has been married to businessman Jack Brooksbank (40) since 2018, has given birth to a daughter.
The first girl for the Brooksbanks
Jack and Eugenie are overjoyed to announce the birth of Baby Girl Brooksbank, she writes on Instagram. She gushes: We are more than in love with our little girl. Along with this, the proud mother posted a picture showing her daughter from behind. The baby's face cannot be seen in the photo.
Eugenie's family has thus grown to five members. The baby, whose name has not yet been revealed, is the first girl for Eugenie and her Jack. Their son August was born in February 2021, followed by their son Ernest in May 2023.
Baby was born in Portugal
The British Palace also announced the birth. On Instagram, among other places, the court shared the same photo on the Royal Family's official account. Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter, who was born on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 6:20 p.m. in a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal.
At birth, the baby weighed just under three kilograms, according to the announcement. King Charles III (77), Queen Camilla (79), and other members of the family are said to be delighted to have learned the news.
Eugenie had publicly announced in May that the couple's third child was on the way. She posted a photo on Instagram showing the couple's two sons looking at an ultrasound image. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's (66) and Sarah Ferguson's (66) younger daughter wrote: Baby Brooksbank coming 2026!
