This is a rare sight of royals - and on her birthday no less! Duchess Meghan checked in with her Instagram followers on Tuesday with two fun photos. Prince Harry's (41) wife celebrates her 45th special day on August 4 and expresses her gratitude with these snapshots.
Meghan shared two black-and-white photos on Tuesday. The first photo shows the Duchess in a swimsuit with sunglasses. The birthday girl is holding several balloons by their strings while jumping into an outdoor pool. In the second shot, Meghan is just diving below the surface. The water splashes, with only her arm and the balloons still visible above the pool. Alongside the pictures, Meghan thanks everyone for "the birthday love".

Meanwhile, working on a new documentary has reminded the Duchess of her own childhood, as she told "People" magazine. In an article published on her birthday, the now 45-year-old discusses the documentary "Cookie Queens". The documentary will be released in select theaters in the U.S. on August 7.
The film centers on four young Girl Scouts who sell the famous "Girl Scout Cookies". The California native reports that the documentary brought back "wonderful memories".
She was once a Girl Scout herself, and her mother Doria Ragland (69) was the leader of Meghan's troop. "These girls are our leaders of tomorrow and wonderful role models", Meghan says. "I found this aspect of the film so important: showing young entrepreneurs, girls with financial literacy and skills that lay the foundation for their future success [...]."
Through their production company Archewell Productions, Meghan and Harry were involved in the creation of the film. The documentary also has special resonance for her because Meghan is raising a daughter herself, she says. Together with Harry, she has two children - little Lilibet (5) and her brother Archie (7).
