Following the split between Nicole Kidman (59) and Keith Urban (58), there are fresh rumors about a potential new partner for the actress. The Oscar winner has recently been spotted multiple times with private equity businessman Michael Reinstein, as Page Six reports.
The gossip section of the New York Post recently published paparazzi photos that reportedly show the two in conversation in front of a luxury hotel in Portofino, Italy. Page Six is now following up with additional paparazzi shots that reportedly show the actress and the businessman. The photos give the impression that the two spent some quality time together on lounge chairs by the pool.
The photos were reportedly taken by the pool at the Splendido Hotel in Portofino. The two allegedly enjoyed an Aperol Spritz, giggled and smiled, and appeared to have an animated conversation. Officially, there has been no confirmation of a possible relationship so far.
Why Portofino of all places?
Portofino has long been known as a summer hotspot for the beautiful and wealthy. The Splendido describes itself on its website as "the epitome of Italian glamour." Richard Burton (1925-1984) and Elizabeth Taylor (1932-2011) reportedly returned there time and again.
In recent years, a who's who of the entertainment and fashion industry has enjoyed themselves here. Personalities such as Madonna, Rihanna, Naomi Campbell, Kylie Minogue, the late Giorgio Armani, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, or several Kardashian sisters have been spotted on location.
The news that Kidman and Urban had split caused a stir last year. The actress and the singer married in 2006. Last September, the end of their marriage became public knowledge after around 19 years. In early January 2026, the marriage was officially dissolved.
Kidman has a total of four children, two with Urban and two with her first ex-husband Tom Cruise (64). The two children from Kidman and Cruise, a daughter and a son, were adopted. She gave birth to her third child, another daughter, in 2008. In 2010, her third daughter was born via surrogate.
