Margaret Qualley (31) is not leaving the speculation about her marital split uncommented. Two days after the US magazine "People" made public the actress's separation from musician Jack Antonoff (42), her team is now pushing back against reports of alleged infidelity. "The portrayals currently circulating in the press about Margaret and Jack are categorically untrue", "People" quotes from a statement published by a spokesperson for Qualley on Friday.

"There are no trust issues. There was no infidelity or anything other than respect and partnership in this relationship." The statement does not contradict the separation itself, but only the rumored reasons for it. The spokesperson went further in her statement: "They feel deep love and care for one another. There are only two people in this marriage, and the sources speaking to the press and commenting on their relationship are not people who know them. Please respect their privacy." A representative for Antonoff did not immediately respond to a request for comment, according to "People".

Insider: "They love each other very much"

The magazine had exclusively reported on July 8 that the Grammy-winning music producer and the "The Substance" actress had separated after nearly three years of marriage. The two wanted to figure out how to move forward, sources close to the couple said at the time. A day later, an insider already painted a much more harmonious picture to the magazine than some headlines suggested: "They love each other very much", according to the source, with both approaching the process "with nothing but kindness and connection".

An appearance by Antonoff had also attracted attention. The Bleachers frontman appeared on July 3 without his wife at the wedding of his longtime collaborator Taylor Swift (36) to Travis Kelce (36) at New York's Madison Square Garden. By his side: his sister, fashion designer Rachel Antonoff.
