Gwyneth Paltrow (53) has her own TikTok profile and has posted her first video there. The travel clip, which was apparently filmed in Europe, was posted last Friday and consists of a series of short clips at constantly changing locations. The Oscar winner filmed herself in a helicopter, on a boat, in a garden, and on a private jet, among other places.

Two scenes are particularly striking. In one, Paltrow is lying in a bed with white bedding and with apparently nothing on except gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses and matching earrings. In the other, she sits with her hair pinned back and dark sunglasses in a bathtub. The various sunglasses aren't the only thing that changes; the outfits also change from scene to scene.

The last line hits home

The common thread of the video is a sentence that Paltrow says in ever-new variations: "One second, I'm just doing a quick TikTok." She says it in several languages, including French and Italian. At the end, the Goop founder, wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt, audibly loses her patience: "Can I please just make this damn TikTok now?" she asks.

She captioned the video "Apparently I'm on TikTok now" and also shared the clip in her Instagram story. On Instagram, the actress has around 9.1 million subscribers, while on TikTok she has around 3,000 followers so far (as of Saturday, 12:30 p.m.). The platform isn't entirely new to her anyway: videos featuring her have already been posted on her company Goop's account, but according to "People", this compilation is the first post on her own profile.

Paltrow founded Goop in 2008, initially as an email newsletter with health and lifestyle tips. It now includes Goop Kitchen and Goop Beauty, among others. Just on July 21, the entrepreneur presented a new shower gel on Instagram; for the video she was wrapped only in a white towel.

Paltrow most recently appeared on camera for the table tennis drama Marty Supreme by director Josh Safdie, which was released in theaters here in February 2026. The film had already caused a stir in 2024 when paparazzi photos of a kissing scene with Timothée Chalamet made the rounds. On US television she said that the excitement in her mom chat groups was enormous: "All the moms were pretty excited."

In her private life, the actress has daughter Apple (22) and son Moses (20) from her marriage to Coldplay singer Chris Martin. She has been married to Brad Falchuk since 2018.
