Ten women accuse Jared Leto (54) of misconduct. The BBC made the allegations public on Wednesday; they are to be discussed in detail in the documentary "Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret". According to the broadcaster, nine of the women are coming forward publicly for the first time. One of them was 17 years old at the time of the alleged incident, which is said to have occurred in California, where the age of consent is 18.
The Oscar winner denies all accusations. "I have never mistreated anyone in my entire life", states a response obtained by "Entertainment Weekly". "These claims are absolutely and categorically false."
The reports bring renewed attention to a post that has been online for more than seven years. On May 15, 2018, Dylan Sprouse (33), then 25 years old, addressed the actor directly on Twitter: "Yo Jared Leto, now that you've slid into the DMs of every female model between 18 and 25, how would you rate your success rate?" The former Disney Channel star had just started dating Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin (32), whom he later married.

Sprouse Remains Silent to This Day
Sprouse has never publicly explained what prompted this jab. However, according to "Entertainment Weekly", someone else spoke up at the time: Director James Gunn ("Guardians of the Galaxy", 59) asked suggestively in a comment whether Leto "only starts at 18" on the internet. He later deleted the post.
Three years later, Gunn took over the sequel to "Suicide Squad". In his screenplay, the Joker no longer appeared-the very character that Leto had portrayed in the 2016 film.
Inquiries from "Entertainment Weekly" to representatives of Sprouse, Leto, and Gunn have apparently remained unanswered so far.
