In recent weeks, influencer Fiona Erdmann (37), her partner Mohamad and their three children traveled through Italy, explored various cities and enjoyed many delicious specialties. The final stop was Rome, after which the family actually wanted to fly on to Germany.
On August 5, the former "GNTM" contestant was supposed to present a new ice cream flavor at an event in an ice cream parlor in her hometown of Meldorf in Schleswig-Holstein under the motto "Meldorf meets Dubai". But that's not happening.
Fiona Erdmann felt like she was in a bad movie
Over the weekend, the 37-year-old shared a dramatic update from the Italian capital. Alongside a photo showing a smashed car window, she wrote in an Instagram story: "What happened here tonight is like a bad movie. Instead of flying to Germany, we're going back to Dubai tomorrow." She was "so angry, sad and shocked!" She has not revealed any further details so far.
"All luggage stolen"
However, her partner provided further insights into the incident on his account. He wrote alongside a clip of the broken-into rental car: "First our scooter was stolen in the park. We were still laughing and thinking: Maybe a child just needed it. Now our rental car was broken into and all our luggage was stolen." The police were friendly, but didn't want to come. "Filing a report apparently wasn't possible either, because no one is responsible outside of working hours."
The theft apparently affected the Lebanese-born man so much that he no longer wanted to travel to his partner's home country: "At this point I'm canceling my trip to Germany. I'd rather sweat at home in Dubai than have to be afraid of being robbed or stabbed on vacation. Very sad."
New happiness in Dubai after severe blows of fate
Fiona Erdmann became famous in 2007 through the second season of "Germany's next Topmodel". Afterwards, she landed various jobs as an actress and presenter, and in 2013 she participated in the jungle camp. After the death of her mother and her first husband, she emigrated to Dubai several years ago, where she met her partner. The couple had two sons and a daughter and built a real estate business together.
