Sophia Thomalla (36) and Alexander Zverev (29) are spending their summer vacation together on Mallorca. The host gives her followers glimpses of their days on the Balearic island on Instagram. There she shared a story showing her partner from behind at sunset aboard a boat, as well as a cozy couple photo.
In it, Thomalla can be seen on the boat in a black swimsuit and sunglasses, with Zverev's arm around her waist. Both are smiling relaxed at the camera. In another shot, she showed the Mediterranean view with a pool.
Eventful Summer
On Mallorca, the two are taking a break from what has been a very eventful summer so far. On June 7, the tennis pro prevailed in the French Open final over five sets against Italian Flavio Cobolli, winning his first Grand Slam title. After the victory, Thomalla traveled to meet her boyfriend, bringing a gift: the dachshund puppy Buba, the couple's second dog. At the grass tournament in Halle on June 20, she sat in the stands, and at the end of June they went to Kitzbühel for the Alexander Zverev Foundation. In mid-July, the couple was already spotted vacationing on Ibiza.
However, Zverev also has to recover from a major defeat: In the Wimbledon final on July 12, he had to admit defeat against Jannik Sinner in his girlfriend's absence. Previously, he had made public that the two generally have no contact with each other during major Grand Slam tournaments. "We also survive two weeks without each other. We have a relatively stable relationship", the "Spiegel" quoted the Olympic champion.
A Couple Since October 2021
Sophia Thomalla and Alexander Zverev made their much-noticed relationship public in October 2021, and made their first official appearance as a couple in December of the same year at a charity gala. They had met through mutual friends.
