The Hamburg native became a comedy star on “RTL Samstag Nacht” as the “man with a thousand faces.” His character “Dittsche,” who philosophizes about the world in a bathrobe at a snack bar, remains a cult favorite to this day. The gifted impressionist is considered one of Germany’s most versatile performers.
