Sky is continuing its reality documentary about Yeliz Koc and Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht. The first episode of the second season of "Yeliz & Jimi - We Are Family?!" will air on September 22 on Sky and WOW, with the format broadcast on Sky One.

This time there are six episodes, released on a weekly basis. At the same time, the episodes will be available on RTL+, where the complete first season has also been available since September 1. Sky announced this in a press release.

Filming took place between Hanover and Dubai. The focus is once again on the everyday life of the former couple with their daughter Snow, along with insights into what the two reality stars are dealing with separately.

Big Plans Turn Into Public Disputes

Season one had recounted the backstory: years of silence, then a rapprochement that took place primarily for the sake of their daughter, and finally the intention to establish something like a regular family routine going forward. Big hopes, big plans for the future, as the network described it.

The new episodes answer how viable these plans are in an unforgiving manner. Sky announces overwhelm, new people in the family structure, and disappointment over broken promises. This leads to disputes that are also played out publicly.

In the end, there's the possibility that contact between Koc and Ochsenknecht could break down for a second time. The question the network poses for the season is accordingly: Can this crumbling family structure even be saved?

A second narrative level goes back one generation. In the new season, Yeliz Koc's mother Andrea Koc picks up her old diaries and reads painful memories of her marriage to Savas Koc. Yeliz's father appears on camera for the very first time in the new episodes.

The six episodes of the non-fiction Sky original series are produced by B28 Produktion on behalf of Sky Deutschland.
