The California punk band blink-182 is coming to Berlin for a single open-air concert. On June 8, 2027, the US band will perform at the Waldbühne - around four years after their most recent appearance in the capital to date. This is according to a concert announcement. Canadian group Billy Talent will take over the supporting program as special guest.
Regular ticket sales for the show begin on June 26, 2026 at 10 am. With the early date, one of the highlights of the 2027 open-air season is already confirmed. The band announced Milan (June 13) and Paris (June 15) as additional European stops.
Also appearing at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park
The Berlin concert is not the band's only German date next year. Recently, blink-182 were confirmed as the first headliner for Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, which take place from June 4 to 6, 2027. For the band, these are their first appearances in the history of both festivals. The twin festivals usually feature the same lineup, with acts performing at both locations at staggered times.
25 Years of Take Off Your Pants And Jacket
The concert announcements fall during an anniversary year. In 2026, the band's fourth studio album, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket from 2001, will turn 25 years old. The multi-gold and platinum certified record brought blink-182 to the top of the album charts for the first time in both Germany and the USA, and solidified their reputation as one of the defining bands of that era.
Mark Hoppus (54), Tom DeLonge (50) and Travis Barker (50) shaped the music landscape of the turn of the millennium as a trio. Over a career spanning around three decades, the group has sold more than 60 million records according to their own statements.
