The second season of the reality show "Villa der Versuchung" has its first two contestants. Jenny Elvers (54) and Thorsten Legat (57) will be part of the format, as reported by "Joyn.de". The names were reportedly revealed on "Sat.1-Frühstücksfernsehen".
After his career as a professional soccer player, Thorsten Legat established himself with striking appearances on formats such as "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!", "Das Sommerhaus der Stars", "The 50", or "Das große Promi-Büßen". With his direct, emotional manner, he regularly caused conflicts, earning himself a reputation as a polarizing reality star.
Jenny Elvers also has extensive reality TV experience. The actress and host has been seen on shows including "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!", "Promi Big Brother", "Kampf der Realitystars", or "Reality Queens - Auf High Heels durch den Dschungel".
A total of 14 celebrities will once again move into the villa, with host Verona Pooth (58) leading the show again. It's set to launch on Monday, August 3, at 8:15 PM on Sat.1 and on the streaming service Joyn. The other names from the cast are not yet known.
How "Villa der Versuchung" Works
The principle remains the same: 14 celebrities move into a supposed luxury paradise for two weeks, which quickly turns out to be a sham. Instead of champagne and canapés, hard mats and meager rations await. Anyone who wants more must pay. Every temptation and every comfort is deducted directly from the shared jackpot of 250,000 euros.
Whether bed, sofa, or pool: everything has its price. New this season is the "Anziehbar", where contestants can buy fresh outfits, also at the expense of the prize money. In regular accounting ceremonies, Verona Pooth takes stock and reveals how much of the prize money remains.
This raises the same question day after day: indulge or abstain? Anyone who treats themselves reduces the winnings for everyone. This creates tensions between penny-pinchers and spenders and puts the group's solidarity to the test.
Jasmin Herren (47) took home the victory last year. From the initial prize money of 250,000 euros, "only" 9,199 euros remained for her.
