Ursula Karven (61) will become a grandmother for the first time. Her son Christopher Veres (32) and his wife, top model Anna Mila Guyenz (30), are expecting their first child together. Veres confirmed the news to the "Bild" newspaper.
"Yes, we're having a baby and we're very happy." For the young married couple, the baby is the next big milestone after their wedding in February. At the time, the two had tied the knot at a civil ceremony in Berlin after nearly two years of dating. Whether Guyenz was already pregnant at the wedding is not known.
Ursula Karven is "over the moon"
The joy is especially great for the grandmother-to-be. Ursula Karven told "Bild": "I'm thrilled! We're all over the moon with joy."
Christopher Veres' father, US film producer James Veres (76), also responded to the news. "We're really very happy. Anna is the perfect woman for him", he said.
Expectant mother works as successful model
Anna Mila Guyenz is one of the most well-known German models. The Berlin native has already walked the runway for international luxury brands like Prada and Louis Vuitton and has appeared at various Fashion Weeks.
She was discovered at just 14 years old by a photographer. Today she is one of the sought-after faces in the modeling world. Ursula Karven herself also worked as a model in her younger years before becoming known as an actress.
Christopher Veres initially also worked as an actor and gained experience in the fashion industry, but now works as a programmer.
