Helene Fischer (41) celebrated the kickoff of her 360° Stadium Tour in Dresden on Wednesday evening. More than 35,000 spectators at Dresden's Rudolf Harbig Stadium witnessed the pop star's return to the big tour stage after almost three years.

One emotional moment in particular generated buzz: Together with her husband Thomas Seitel (41), Fischer floated high above the audience during the as-yet-unreleased song 'An meiner Seite' - 'closely embraced,' as the newspaper Bild reports. It was 'the greatest declaration of love she could make to her husband,' the article continues. The Süddeutsche Zeitung describes it as a 'completely captivating aerial ballet number.'

Elaborate Production

In addition to the emotional scenes, Fischer also impressed with the show's production. At the center of the stadium was a 360-degree stage designed to provide fans with the greatest possible proximity. During the concert, Fischer performed a dance on a banquet table, as the Sächsische Zeitung writes. 'The perfectly coordinated choreography created powerful images and underscored the high production value of the tour,' the paper judged. A golden throne was also part of the production, on which the singer performed while standing. According to the newspaper, this set a 'confident exclamation mark.' The portal n-tv called it a 'landslide victory' for the tour kickoff. Fischer proved that on stage she remains 'the champion.'

Musically, Fischer spanned the range between new and familiar titles: In addition to the new songs 'An meiner Seite' and 'Warum,' hits like 'Atemlos durch die Nacht' and 'Herzbeben' were also on the program. She also included her current single 'Heute Nacht.'

Much Praise and Little Criticism from Concertgoers

Fans also found words of praise on social media for the pop star's performance. 'How amazing was that concert, please? I'm speechless!' wrote one person under a post by the singer. 'It was a great show,' another user found. It was 'absolutely incredible,' others said. Some called the tour kickoff 'mega' and praised the 'fantastic atmosphere.'

There was little criticism to be read. However, one person noted that the stage construction partially obstructed the view of the singer and that a traditional front stage would have provided a better view.

The next concert of the tour for Helene Fischer's 20-year stage anniversary is on Saturday, June 13, in Berlin. She will then travel to Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, and Cologne. She will also perform in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Hanover, Vienna, Zurich, and Munich.
