Prime Video has confirmed a fourth season of the reality format "The 50". According to this, the new episodes are scheduled to air on Amazon's streaming service in spring 2027. A specific start date as well as the participants are not yet known. The previous seasons each began in March.

Reality stars don't win the prize money for themselves

In the show, 50 stars compete against each other. In a castle, they fight in various challenges for a prize pot that starts at 50,000 euros. Over the course of the season, this sum can increase or decrease through games. In the end, the winnings don't go to the winner themselves, but are raffled off among that person's followers.

In this year's season, reality star Julia Römmelt won 28,000 euros for one of her fans. In the second season, the jackpot was even 52,000 euros. The money went to a follower of Swiss influencer Raffa Plastic at the time. The first winner of the German edition was "Love Island" star Paco Herb, who was able to win 50,000 euros for one of his followers.
