Starting Monday, "Die Landarztpraxis - Team Sonnenhof" will take over the 7 p.m. early evening slot on Sat.1. The spin-off of the daily series "Die Landarztpraxis" moves the plot from fictional Wiesenkirchen at Lake Schliersee to the neighboring town of Weilhausen, which is frequently mentioned in the parent series. There, after their father's death, the five Lamminger siblings gather at their parents' guesthouse Sonnenhof to settle the estate. In addition to three familiar faces from Wiesenkirchen, the new format relies primarily on a fresh cast.

The Lamminger Siblings

At the center is Pina Kühr (39) as Lilli Lamminger, who wants to bring the Sonnenhof back to life after the death of her parents. The actress first gained years of theater experience, including permanent engagements in Regensburg and Bamberg. In 2018, she appeared in her first leading film role for the Joyn series "Die Läusemutter"; later she was seen in formats such as "Der Lehrer" and various television films. In 2025, her first novel was also published, in which she processes the loss of her son. That same year her daughter was born.

Her on-screen sister Julia is played by Rike Schmid (46). The actress has been a familiar face on German television since her TV debut in 1999, including in the ZDF series "Der Fürst und das Mädchen" and most recently in several Black Forest crime dramas. In addition to acting, she has published two books.

The eldest brother Konstantin, a Munich chief physician with a secret, is played by Michael Epp. Konstantin claims the medical practice that belongs to the Sonnenhof. The German-British actor is also internationally successful: in addition to German TV projects, he was recently seen in productions such as "Spencer", "The Brutalist" and "The Beekeeper".

The new sibling quartet is completed by Tobias Schäfer as chef and globetrotter Freddy. The Bonn native has appeared in productions including "Babylon Berlin" and the Grimme Award-nominated web series "Kuntergrau".

The Love Interest

Max Alberti (43) provides romantic complications as Sebastian. He meets Lilli during a mountain hike - an encounter that neither can forget. What they don't initially realize: Sebastian is married to Lilli's sister Julia. Alberti is familiar to audiences from series such as "Sturm der Liebe", "Wilsberg" and "Bettys Diagnose". He is also active as the drummer for the reggae band Jamaram.

Old Friends from Wiesenkirchen

"Team Sonnenhof" brings three characters from the parent format, first and foremost of course Becky Lamminger (Sina Zadra) as the fifth member of the Lamminger clan. Zadra joined the mountain rescuers in Wiesenkirchen in season three and caused plenty of chaos when she turned the heads of both Basti Raichinger (Simon Lucas) and his father Max (Alexander Koll). Her strict father was also frequently mentioned. Toward the end of the season, Becky moved to Switzerland to work with the mountain rescue service there - now she's returning.

Dr. Ella Wagner (Nina Schmieder, 41) is also a familiar figure in the "Landarztpraxis" universe: in season three, she was one of the main characters alongside Chris Lehmann (Kai Schumann), and at the end she went with him to Australia. She returned to Wiesenkirchen some time ago due to her father's illness. After breaking up with Chris, she wants to fulfill her dream of having her own practice and has her eye on the Sonnenhof. Joining her in the new premises in Weilhausen is medical assistant Feli Marino (Fenja Gerhardter), who has been part of "Die Landarztpraxis" since the very first episode.

Fans don't have to say goodbye to Wiesenkirchen completely, however: according to the network, there will be regular crossovers, including scenes with the familiar characters. Sat.1 has not yet announced a specific date for when or whether the original "Landarztpraxis" will continue.
