Taylor Swift (36) and Travis Kelce (36) have received emotional messages of gratitude after donating two million dollars to the organization Answer the Call NYC before their wedding. The organization supports families of police officers, firefighters, and other first responders in New York City who have died in the line of duty.
"I know from personal experience how much this organization's support means to families like mine," wrote Patricia Polimeni, the wife of a police officer who died in 2020, according to Page Six. The prominent couple's donation is so much more than just a financial contribution: "It provides hope, comfort, and a sense of community to families who are learning to navigate life after losing someone who dedicated their life to serving others."
Amanda Rivera, daughter of a police officer who died in 2004, also penned a special message to the couple, according to the report. "In the early years after my father's death, it was difficult to find our way and get support for my mother and me," she wrote. "We felt so alone in our grief and thought no one knew what we were going through."

According to Page Six, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have donated a total of 26 million dollars to various charitable organizations across the United States. The singer and the NFL pro tied the knot on July 3rd at Madison Square Garden in New York City in the presence of friends and family.
