Melanie Hamrick (39) used her fiancé Mick Jagger's 83rd birthday to offer a glimpse into their relationship. The former ballet dancer put together a photo series on Instagram showing the Rolling Stones singer away from the stage and spotlight. "Happy Birthday, my love! Here's to more adventures, more laughter, and more fun!", she wrote.
The photos show the couple with their son Deveraux (9) in front of a pyramid, as well as on the red carpet, in the car, on the sofa, or on vacation. In one selfie, Hamrick gives her partner a kiss on the cheek.
Joint Appearances Remain the Exception
Jagger and Hamrick rarely allow themselves to be photographed together. One of these rare occasions occurred in early May in New York: At the Spring Gala of the New York City Ballet at the David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center, the couple posed visibly cheerful on the red carpet.
Jagger and Hamrick, who is 44 years his junior, met during a Rolling Stones tour in Japan. They have been a couple since 2014. In keeping with their private relationship, the author only revealed in 2025 that they had been engaged for two or three years already.
Birthday Wishes from Family and Band
Mick Jagger received even more birthday wishes on his special day. His son Lucas from his relationship with Brazilian TV host Luciana Gimenez also posted a photo at his father's side. Gimenez herself posted a shot showing her standing between Mick and Lucas.
And of course his bandmates also chimed in. Guitarist Ronnie Wood skipped the words and instead showed one of his paintings portraying the birthday boy in his Instagram Story. Keith Richards shared a black-and-white photo of the two and wrote: "Wishing Mick a very happy birthday! One love, Keith."
From founding bassist Bill Wyman (89), who left the band in the early nineties, came this message: "Happy 83rd Birthday. I've been there, it's not that bad. Wishing you many more."
The official Instagram account of the Rolling Stones posted a series of images from various decades. "Happy Birthday, Mick. You continue to inspire generations with your energy, your creativity, and your unmistakable spirit, there's no one like you. We wish you a fantastic day", it read. The band had just released their new studio album "Foreign Tongues" on July 10.
