On "Love Is Blind: Germany", they accompanied contestants in their search for true love - now their own marriage is over: Steffi Brungs (37) and Chris Wackert (37) have split up. The host's management confirmed this upon request by the news agency spot on news. Wackert did not wish to comment on any further personal matters. Previously, the "Bild" newspaper had reported on the end of the marriage.

According to "Bild", sources from the couple's closest circle say that both made a joint and conscious decision to go their separate ways from now on. This is said to have happened about six weeks ago. Wackert has reportedly already moved out of the shared house in Cologne.

Together on camera for "Love Is Blind"

The "Sat.1-Frühstücksfernsehen" host and the RTL celebrity expert met in 2014 at a student party. Five years later, they got married in Potsdam and in Hawaii. Together, the two appeared not only on camera for the Netflix dating format, but also had their joint podcast "TraumBar". The most recent episode was released in May. The two have not yet commented on the end of the project. Because they recently attended events separately and were no longer wearing wedding rings, fans had already been speculating about a split.

Meanwhile, what will happen with the duo as hosts of "Love Is Blind: Germany" remains to be seen. A corresponding inquiry has so far gone unanswered by Netflix. The second season aired at the beginning of the year, and the streaming service has already officially confirmed another season for next year. Filming was scheduled for the spring, specifically for the period from March to June.
