Daniela "Danni" Büchner (48) is fighting back on Instagram against the constant comments about her appearance. "It's quite astonishing how many people think they have the right to tell a 48-year-old woman how she should look, dress, or live", she writes alongside a bikini video that shows the Mallorca resident at the beach.
In the clip, the "Goodbye Deutschland" star emerges tanned and wearing sunglasses from the ocean. Her tattoos are clearly visible, including a small dolphin above her belly button. "I even had to listen to people in my closest circle tell me how 'trashy' my tattoos are at my age", Büchner continues. "But who actually gives you the right to judge other women?", the reality star addresses her critics.
"Self-confidence has no expiration date"
The widow of cult emigrant Jens Büchner (1969-2018) suspects that such comments are primarily rooted in people's own dissatisfaction. "I'm 48. I'm a mother of five children. I wear a bikini. I have tattoos. And I feel good about it", she makes clear. "Because self-confidence has no expiration date."
It's not new that the polarizing TV personality makes her body a public topic. Last October, for example, she spoke openly about her weight loss. Büchner has also repeatedly defended herself publicly against hate comments. She's now also taking legal action against them, as she told the "Bild" newspaper last month. The reason for this is her two youngest children, who are now "noticing more and more".
Danni Büchner became known alongside her husband Jens Büchner (1969-2018) through the VOX documentary "Goodbye Deutschland! Die Auswanderer". Together, the two were also seen on "Sommerhaus der Stars". The couple had twins, and Danni Büchner brought three more children into the marriage. Even after her husband's death, she remained present on television and moved into the jungle camp in 2020, among other things.
