According to her account, another car failed to stop at an intersection. This led to the crash a few days ago in France. Driver recorded the video at her home in London.
We somehow managed to get out of there ... Well, we didn't just walk out, we crawled out more like, but we made it out alive, Driver said. The accident was not our fault, she added.
Airbags apparently saved her life
She sprained her neck in the crash, was in shock and cried the whole time, but she is doing fine.
The actress, who was recently also seen in the Netflix series Emily in Paris, explained further: The reason I'm still alive is the car we were driving. I'd never had an accident, but the 360-degree airbags saved our lives.
The caption of her Instagram post also states: A huge thank you to the driver of the van who stopped and helped us before the ambulances arrived ... The accident keeps replaying in my head - it's very difficult, but seems to be a necessary part of processing it.
