Reality stars Samira (32) and Serkan Yavuz (33) departed together from Munich on Tuesday for a vacation in Turkey. The former couple revealed this on Instagram. On board are their two daughters Nova (4) and Valea (2). On the platform, however, Serkan remains blocked by Samira.
Making a Trip Out of Necessity
Originally, Samira had different plans for the spontaneous trip. She would have preferred to travel with her mother, but she had to stay home to take care of her cats. That left only Serkan as a companion. The 32-year-old didn't want to travel alone with her two small children. "I would have rather stayed home then", she explained on Monday in an Instagram story.
Nevertheless, Samira views the joint vacation pragmatically. She herself can travel, and the children benefit from it as well. That's why the trip is a "win-win" for everyone. The fact that she has blocked Serkan on Instagram but is now flying on vacation with him, she takes with a shrug. "What can I say? He brought that on himself."
The decision for the joint vacation was apparently made very last minute. "Booked today, leaving tomorrow", Samira shared on Monday. For Serkan, the last-minute planning became a stress test. "You can't imagine what an organizational marathon I went through", he described in his own Instagram story. By his joking calculation, it took "26 nervous breakdowns" before everything was done. But now he's looking forward to the vacation together.
Serkan Mocks Samira's Travel Look
However, according to Samira's words, the trip doesn't indicate a romantic comeback at all. "Everything stays as it is", she made clear. Whether the vacation will go smoothly remains to be seen. At the Munich airport before departure, some tensions were already noticeable. Before the check-in counter, Serkan criticized his ex's travel outfit: "Who flies in jeans? She's breaking all the rules of flying." Given his words, Samira appeared slightly annoyed.
However, this isn't the first time they've pulled together for their daughters. Just at the end of May, they jointly celebrated their older daughter Nova's fourth birthday with a themed party featuring Princess Elsa from the film "Die Eiskönigin".
Separated Since 2025
The former reality TV couple had met in 2021 on "Bachelor in Paradise" and had a civil marriage ceremony in August 2023. In 2025, they were actually supposed to celebrate their dream wedding - instead, the separation followed due to Serkan's infidelity. From the relationship come two daughters: Nova was born in May 2022, Valea followed in May 2024.
