Beatrice Egli (37) has already proven her talents as a singer, host, and entertainer multiple times. But what about her acting skills when she's not portraying herself? The Swiss star will soon demonstrate this in several episodes of the Sat.1 and Joyn series "Die Landarztpraxis - Team Sonnenhof".
For her guest appearance, Egli slips into the role of Swiss woman Céline Huber, who surprises Lilli Lamminger (Pina Kühr, 39) at the Sonnenhof in Weilhausen. The two women had completed hotel management training together and developed into good friends during that time. The network's character description further states that Céline immediately becomes popular with everyone in town with her warm nature. Only Lilli notices that "there's more behind her friend's beaming smile". Why has Céline really come to Weilhausen?
She's excited to slip into a different role
For Egli, the fact that she's portraying a fictional person with Céline Huber represents a welcome change of pace. Until now, she has been allowed to step in front of the camera "always as myself", such as in guest roles on "Sturm der Liebe" or "Unter uns". "Now having the opportunity to embody a character and immerse myself in a new role is something very special for me." She approached this challenge with great respect, which at the same time has given her "an incredible amount of joy".
The new series "Die Landarztpraxis - Team Sonnenhof" premieres on June 29 on Sat.1 as well as on Joyn. It is a spin-off of the main series "Die Landarztpraxis", which has been airing since 2023. When Egli will make her big appearance on "Team Sonnenhof", which will span several episodes, has not yet been announced. The network only states that her episodes will air "in late summer".
