Ariana Grande (33) has postponed three concerts of her "Eternal Sunshine Tour", affecting Brooklyn and Boston. The singer announced the decision in her Instagram Stories. The reason is production issues that raised safety concerns shortly before the performances.

Specifically, the concert originally scheduled for July 12 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn has been moved to July 14. Two Boston dates at TD Garden, planned for July 22 and 24, will now take place on July 23 and 26. All tickets already purchased will remain valid for the new dates, and buyers will receive additional information directly.

"The Best and Safest Option"

In a message to fans, Grande apologized for the inconvenience. "We deeply regret these unfortunate date changes", she wrote. "This was our best and safest option after becoming aware of these production challenges."

Grande's particular emphasis on safety has a serious background. After one of her concerts at Manchester Arena in 2017, an attack occurred in which 22 people lost their lives. The issue has accompanied the singer throughout her career since then.

"The most important thing for all of us is safety, first and foremost, and also ensuring that you all see the show as it is meant to be", Grande explained. "Thank you so much for your understanding, and I can't wait to see you." Only the three mentioned dates are affected for now; the rest of the North America tour is expected to proceed as planned.

Return to the Stage

The "Eternal Sunshine Tour" had just started at the beginning of the month - marking Grande's return to touring after several years during which she focused on film and music projects. This included her role as Glinda in the film adaptation of "Wicked". Her last major headlining tour, the "Sweetener World Tour", had ended in 2019 after around 100 performances worldwide.

The remaining tour schedule includes Chicago and Sunrise in Florida as well as Montreal, before Grande concludes the series from mid-August to early September with several concerts in London. Meanwhile, the singer is maintaining her pace: her eighth studio album "Petal" is scheduled to be released on July 31.
