The wife of the British heir to the throne appeared on Wednesday in Ascot at her husband's side in a radiant yellow, summery dress, which according to the "Daily Mail" is from the label Roksanda. Kate paired the elegant dress with a matching hat. William, dressed in classic formal attire and wearing a black top hat, wore yellow flowers on his lapel - a beautiful eye-catcher coordinated with his wife's dress.
Princess Kate returns to Royal Ascot
For Kate, it is a return to Royal Ascot after she canceled her participation at short notice last year. According to the broadcaster "BBC," anonymous royal sources stated in June 2025 that the Princess was still finding the right balance after her cancer diagnosis while gradually returning to official duties. Now she sat once again at Prince William's side during the traditional carriage ride. She had last attended Royal Ascot in 2023.
Carole Middleton came in pink
Princess Kate's mother, Carole Middleton (71), was also present on Wednesday and made an equally glamorous appearance. She came accompanied by her daughter-in-law Alizee, the wife of her son James (39).
Carole Middleton wore a pale pink ensemble by designer Catherine Walker, which according to reports from the British press she already wore at the wedding of her second daughter Pippa Middleton (42) to James Matthews (50) around nine years ago.
