Two of Germany's biggest TV stars are returning with their joint show at the end of the year. Stefan Raab (59) and Barbara Schöneberger (52) will be seen in December in new episodes of "Wer weiß wie wann was war? - Die Show der Generationen" on RTL and via the streaming service RTL+. The network announced this on July 2, 2026.
An exact date has not been published. However, since Saturday evening prime time - starting at 8:15 PM - is explicitly mentioned as the broadcast slot, the first new episode is likely to air either on December 5, December 12, or December 19. The last Saturday of the month is December 26, which is the second day of Christmas. On Christmas, the network will likely dedicate itself to more festive programming. It also remains unclear how many new episodes of the show there will be.
Raab, Schöneberger and the "Entertainment-Heaven"
After the first two broadcasts in March 2026, RTL had already confirmed that Schöneberger and Raab would continue with the format produced by Raab Entertainment. Inga Leschek, CCO of RTL Deutschland, had spoken in a statement of an "exceptional success" that was "undoubtedly" related to the hosting duo. Raab and Schöneberger were "a match made in Entertainment-Heaven".
"Wer weiß wie wann was war?", also abbreviated as "WWWWWW", is a quiz show in which three generations compete to prove their knowledge in categories such as music, pop culture, and contemporary history.
