Duchess Meghan (44) and Prince Harry (41) will reportedly travel to the United Kingdom with their children for the first time in four years in the near future. They could visit the family estate of Harry's late mother, Princess Diana (1961-1997), with Prince Archie (7) and Princess Lilibet (5).

The Sussexes' trip, scheduled to take place in July, has been in the planning stages for a long time. Prince Harry intends to participate in events marking the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games 2027 in Birmingham while in the United Kingdom. The new edition of the sporting event he initiated will take place from July 10 to 17, 2027.

Althorp House closes for two days to visitors

The Spencer estate Althorp House in Northamptonshire is located about an hour from Birmingham. The estate's website indicates that it will remain closed to visitors on July 10 and 11. This is now fueling speculation in the British media that Harry and his family could visit the Spencer family estate during their trip or even stay overnight there.

Princess Diana was buried at Althorp. The Sussexes' visit to the United Kingdom is expected to take place shortly after a special memorial day: Diana would have turned 65 years old on July 1.

Prince Harry has stayed at Althorp during previous visits to the United Kingdom. His uncle Charles Spencer, the 9th Earl Spencer (62), manages the estate. According to media reports, King Charles III (77) has also offered his younger son and his family accommodation at a royal residence for their trip to the United Kingdom. However, where Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will stay with their children during their visit is currently unknown.

Harry and Meghan, who live in the United States, have been to the United Kingdom together with Archie and Lilibet only once before, in June 2022 on the occasion of the celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II's (1926-2022) Platinum Jubilee. However, the Sussexes' children did not make any public appearances at that time.
