"We are currently piloting several shows for Sat.1 access and Sat.1 prime time. We will announce in due time which shows we will broadcast on Sat.1," a network spokesperson explained.

Deal or no Deal is one of the most internationally successful game show formats and has already been shown on German television multiple times. In this country, the show became known primarily through Sat.1: Contestants had to choose briefcases or boxes with unknown amounts of money and repeatedly accept or reject offers from the mysterious "Banker" during the game. The foundation was laid in 2004 by Linda de Mol (61) with "Der Millionen-Deal."
