Jennifer Lopez (56) put herself in the spotlight once again at Paris Fashion Week. On Thursday, the American singer and actress left her hotel in a white dress by designer Stéphane Rolland. As the British "Daily Mail" reports, Lopez twirled for photographers, making the bell-shaped skirt of her babydoll gown swing. Another eye-catcher in her look were the over-the-knee boots that were crafted like pant legs. To complement the striking dress, the star wore equally striking jewelry made of rubies and silver diamonds. The destination for the evening was Restaurant Gigi, a celebrity hotspot located directly across from the Eiffel Tower.

According to the report, famous faces regularly frequent the exclusive establishment. Past guests have included Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Sydney Sweeney. For Lopez, the visit was part of a series of appearances with which she caused a stir during this year's fashion week in the French capital.

Jennifer Lopez: "Authentically being yourself"

The 56-year-old had already expressed her relationship with fashion last year. In an interview with "InStyle" magazine, she described how she understands her style: "It's about which sides of myself I want to show. We have so many different ideas."

One could move between very avant-garde and modern, classic and elegant, or attractive, Lopez explained at the time. Something else was crucial for her: "I believe the key is to always authentically be yourself and to do what feels good in the moment." Whether something older and classic or something completely new - it had to feel right for her in that particular moment.

Close connection to Taylor Swift

Just a few days before her Paris appearance, Lopez had shown a dress on Instagram that she wore to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden. Accompanying the pictures of her look, Lopez simply wrote a champagne glass emoji.

For the occasion, she had chosen a black velvet dress by Bach Mai that was reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn's style. The design with a round neckline, low-waisted silhouette, and wide lurex skirt reached just below the knee. She paired it with a satin clutch by Carolina Herrera, black velvet platforms, and sparkling jewelry.

The friendship between Lopez and Swift has existed for years. Back in 2013, Lopez surprisingly joined Swift on stage during her "Red" tour to perform her song "Jenny From The Block" together.
