Zendaya's (29) outfits on the press tour for the film "The Odyssey" are becoming increasingly extravagant. The actress now caused amazement among fans at a photo shoot in Paris with her latest look. She appeared in a white Givenchy by Alexander McQueen dress, which she combined with a breathtaking, pointed, golden headpiece that covered her face. The shape of the mask was reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower. She also posed with her extraordinary designer piece in front of the Parisian landmark.

The headpiece, designed by Philip Treacy (59) according to her stylist Law Roach (47), only revealed her eyes and lips. With a striking dark red lipstick, Zendaya added an additional dramatic effect.

Special Vintage Dress for Paris

The dress that the movie star chose for the appearance also has a special story. The knee-length gown with voluminous, oversized sleeves and padded shoulders perfectly matched the theme of Zendaya's new film: The look was part of the Spring/Summer 1997 Haute Couture collection, with which the late designer Alexander McQueen (1969-2010) made his debut at Givenchy and which was inspired by Greek mythology. The collection, which consists of looks in white and gold, has since become iconic.

Zendaya had already made headlines before. For her appearance at the world premiere of "The Odyssey" in London, she wore a gown that had already undertaken a small journey. The actress's sculptural Schiaparelli dress was flown by private jet from its presentation at Paris Haute Couture Week to the British capital - just in time for the film launch event on Monday evening (July 6). This was reported by the US magazine "People."

Zendaya is known for premiere looks that are coordinated with the respective films. In Christopher Nolan's (55) adaptation of the ancient epic by Homer, she embodies the Greek goddess Athena. At her side is her husband Tom Holland (30) - he plays Telemachus, the son of the hero Odysseus. "The Odyssey" opens in theaters on July 16.
