For several summers now, fashion fans have been raving about the boho look again. Now one of the style's most important prints is making a comeback: Paisley is drawing attention once more - and not just on bandanas. This was already evident in the Spring/Summer 2026 collections.
Few labels are as closely associated with paisley as Etro. For decades, the teardrop-shaped ornament from Persia has been part of the Italian fashion house's DNA. For 2026, however, Etro is interpreting the classic in a decidedly more glamorous way: Instead of relying on the typical boho look, the pattern meets sparkling embellishments. A prominent example was provided by Shakira (49). The Colombian singer wore a silver-colored pantsuit from the label, adorned with numerous crystals, during an appearance in the USA. Metallic finishes give paisley a modern, luxurious touch.
In everyday life, the boho style remains classic
On the street, wide-cut paisley dresses are especially popular. Those who like maximalism choose a model in trendy aquamarine with spaghetti straps. But olive, brown, and beige also harmonize with the pattern. Suede boots pair well with mini dresses, while lace-up sandals complement midi and maxi lengths. Lace is also a staple of many boho looks and can be combined, for example, as a top with a bias-cut paisley skirt.
Paisley can also be integrated more subtly into a look. A patterned scarf can be loosely tied around the hips or knotted around a bag handle. Bags with paisley patterns are also common in 2026. Those who don't want to stop at one patterned piece can round out the outfit with a matching paisley headscarf. Pearl bracelets and airy pants provide maximum boho vibes.
