More and more of the prominent guests at Taylor Swift's (36) and Travis Kelce's (36) wedding are arriving for the celebrations at Madison Square Garden. Ed Sheeran (35) and his wife Cherry Seaborn (33) were also spotted on Friday afternoon on their way to the celebration in New York City.
Hand in hand, the couple, who have been married since 2018 and have two daughters together, made their way to the wedding. The pair were hard to miss in their colorful outfits. Ed Sheeran appeared in a light blue satin suit, which he combined with a simple white T-shirt. His wife Cherry made an equally eye-catching fashion statement with a bright orange dress and platform shoes.
Close Friendship with Swift
The fact that Ed Sheeran is among the guests is hardly surprising. The British superstar and Taylor Swift have been close friends for many years. The two first met back in 2012, after Swift wrote the lyrics from Sheeran's hit "Lego House" on her arm at a concert in Australia. Later, the two were introduced by their managers.
Their friendship also led to a successful musical collaboration. Together they first released the song "Everything Has Changed" on Swift's album "Red". Later they went on tour together and collaborated again on the track "End Game" on her album "Reputation".
Numerous Celebrity Friends on Their Way to the Wedding
Sheeran and Seaborn are two of around 1,000 invited guests at the wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden, including numerous prominent friends of the couple. Among others, Bradley Cooper (51) and Gigi Hadid (31) were photographed arriving, as well as Swift's longtime assistant Tree Paine, actress Dakota Johnson, and model Karlie Kloss.
