Before Beyoncé (44) became a solo megastar, she was a member of the already very successful girl group Destiny's Child. Almost 22 years after the release of their last studio album Destiny Fulfilled, which was published at the end of 2004, previously unheard music from the group will apparently be released soon. At least that's what Mathew Knowles (74), Beyoncé's father and former manager of Destiny's Child, claims.
They are currently in the process of marketing "a series of new remixes," Knowles tells Page Six Radio on SiriusXM. Some of them have not been heard by the public yet. He suggests that the songs could be released "within the next 30 days."
The form in which the remixes will be released, such as a compilation, is currently unclear. These are songs "with the girls," Knowles explains, presumably referring to his daughter as well as the two other girl group members Kelly Rowland (45) and Michelle Williams (47).
At least one female rapper is featured
The remixes reportedly include "dance" and "urban" mixes. Knowles doesn't provide a more detailed explanation. For example, it's not yet known which songs will receive remixes. However, he mentions that "guest rappers" will also be featured. The only name he mentions so far is Missy Elliott (55).
Knowles reportedly told the US celebrity portal TMZ that there will be ten to 15 remixes. Beyoncé, Rowland, and Williams are all on board. In addition to previously unreleased audio material, there is also video footage that hasn't been shared yet.
