In Berlin and the surrounding area, filming began on June 16 for the new rbb "Tatort" with the working title "Zwei minus Eins gleich Null". Fans of the series should be particularly pleased about one comeback: Felix Stark, played by Boris Aljinovic (58), is returning to the Berlin "Tatort" for one episode.
This marks a reunion with a character who shaped the Berlin investigative team for a long time. Stark was part of the Berlin homicide division from 2001 to 2014 and is now being drawn into the investigations once again.
What the new Berlin "Tatort" is about
The case centers on investigator Robert Karow, played by Mark Waschke (54). After his colleague Susanne Bonard (Corinna Harfouch, 71) retired, Karow is investigating alone this time - at least initially.
In the new case, a mathematics student is found hanged in his apartment. Initially, everyone involved assumes it was a suicide - including prosecutor Sara Taghavi (Jasmin Tabatabai, 59). But Robert Karow quickly discovers inconsistencies at the crime scene.
His research leads him to unsolved cases from the past - and to the old investigations of Felix Stark. Stark was once on the trail of a serial killer who disguised his victims as apparent suicides. But back then, Stark was not taken seriously.
Karow begins to question the connection between the current evidence and the earlier investigations. In doing so, he seeks contact with Stark - and finds an unexpected ally in him. At the same time, Karow's personal life becomes more involved in the plot: His father (Dietrich Hollinderbäumer, 83) is admitted to the hospital, forcing the investigator to confront private questions about relationships and responsibility.
