The wait is over. As of today, Thursday, the new episodes of "Kaulitz & Kaulitz" are available on Netflix. Bill Kaulitz's (36) love life once again plays a major role. Among other things, viewers can see the now legendary housewarming party for his new pool in the summer of 2025, where he was caught kissing Jannik Kontalis (29) in the water.
Tom Kaulitz sees only red flags
The reality TV star and ex-partner of Yeliz Koc (32) and Gerda Lewis (33) thus gets a major appearance in the series. Kontalis essentially takes on the role of Marc Eggers (38), who received a lot of screen time in the first two seasons. Already at the beginning of June, Kontalis, who wanted to become mayor of Mönchengladbach last year, revealed in an interview with RTL: "Bill and I dated for about half a year. We just love life. When we're together, we have the best time!"
But many people in Bill's circle view this fun critically, as the third season shows. First and foremost, twin brother Tom. The flirting in the pool is so uncomfortable for him that he would have preferred to be "cut out". He finds clear words for his skepticism: "These jerks from German trash TV" are bad candidates for Bill. Jannik may be "a nice guy", but just doesn't fit right now. He has the feeling his brother is just being used. But the more red flags there are, the more Bill wants a man.
While Bill raves about Jannik ("I like him"), his friends also express concerns. Stylist Sara Alviti is immediately reminded of the unhappy liaison with Marc Eggers. She finds it "sad" and wishes Bill would finally find a man who wants to be more than a "fun boy" looking for attention. In her opinion, Bill falls in love too quickly and with too much passion.
A serious relationship between Bill and Jannik never developed, as is well known. However, the two seem to remain closely connected as friends. "When Bill says he needs me, I'm on my way immediately. I keep telling him that and he can count on it. Bill should always be a part of my life because he's simply a beautiful person - inside and out. We are one heart and one soul", Kontalis gushed about the musician at the beginning of June.
A love without drama
Meanwhile, Bill continues to search for his Mr. Right. In doing so, he often gets in his own way, according to his own assessment: He says he's always attracted to the "forbidden fruits" and believed for a long time that great love has to hurt and be characterized by drama. Tom, who has been married to Heidi Klum (53) since 2019, sees that as the real problem. His brother has so far lacked the experience of a relationship in which both partners support each other and mutually inspire one another. That's exactly what he would sincerely wish for Bill.
