For Father's Day, Duchess Meghan (44) published a new photo of Prince Harry (41) on Instagram. In it, the Duke of Sussex is smiling broadly while hugging the couple's two children, son Archie (7) and daughter Lilibet (5). Meghan wrote a short, loving message to her husband. "They are so lucky to have you. We all are. Happy Father's Day to our everything."

Trip to Great Britain in July

One detail of the picture is particularly striking: Seven-year-old Archie is wearing an English national soccer team jersey in the photo while leaning against his father. His little sister Lilibet is holding a plush giraffe in her arms. As recently reported, the entire family plans to travel to Great Britain in July. It would be the first visit by Meghan and the children to Great Britain in four years. Prince Harry will be in Birmingham and London from July 6 to 10 for appointments in advance of his Invictus Games next year.

Whether there will be a meeting with King Charles III (77) during the planned stay remains uncertain. The Duke of Sussex has previously stated that he does not feel safe bringing his family to Great Britain without the state-funded police protection that he and Meghan lost with their withdrawal.

Harry last met his father in September 2025 at his London residence. It was the first personal reunion after 19 months. Speaking to the BBC in May, he showed a conciliatory tone. "I would wish for a reconciliation with my family. There's no point in continuing to argue." And further: "Life is precious. I don't know how much time my father has left" - likely an allusion to the King's cancer diagnosis made public in 2024.

Life in California

Harry and Meghan are raising their children in Montecito, California, after stepping back from their royal duties in 2020. The couple has been married since 2018.
