Anne Hathaway (43) is thrilled about her film partner Tom Holland (30). In Christopher Nolan's epic "Die Odyssee", premiering July 16, the actress plays the role of Penelope, mother to Holland's character Telemachus. The collaboration has apparently impressed her so much that she's taking him as a role model for her own children.
"So wonderful"
In an interview with the Canadian show "e-talk", Holland was sitting right next to Hathaway when a reporter asked the pregnant actress how she brought her "mother energy" into the film. "Well, first of all, I have to say as a mother in real life that I really hope all my children turn out as wonderful as my child on screen", she replied, pointing to Holland, who almost spit out his drink from laughing. Hathaway continued: "Tom is like a dream son. And honestly, that's the key to success. We have a fantastic script and brilliant actors." She simply likes him very much.
She also praised Matt Damon (55), who plays King Odysseus in the film. However, Hathaway showed the most respect for the director. "And I love Chris, and that's why I feel like this big, epic film was basically built on deep mutual appreciation and respect." Nobody wanted to disappoint him, which is why everyone involved gave their best to do justice to a Nolan film.
Third child on the way
Privately, it's also a special time for Hathaway. The actress, named "People"'s "most beautiful woman in the world 2026", is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman (45). She made the news public on June 19 on social media. In an Instagram clip, she showed her baby bump. The couple are already parents to two sons, Jonathan (10) and Jack (6), and keep their family life largely private.
