Jodie Foster (63) is one of the Hollywood stars who are rarely seen away from red carpets. The two-time Oscar winner is attracting all the more attention today in London: She arrived hand in hand with her wife Alexandra Hedison for the Ladies' Final Day at Wimbledon.
Fashion-wise, the two are opting for a relaxed contrast. Foster has adapted to the warm London summer and is combining a light blue shirt dress with flat shoes. Hedison chose a white suit and adds a pop of color with a green tie. The actress and the photographer have been married since April 2014.
Two Czech players competing for the title
The occasion for the outing to the historic grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club is the Ladies' Singles final. There, Karolína Muchová and Linda Nosková, two Czech players, will face off starting at 5 PM German time. For both players, it is their first Wimbledon final of their careers.
Plenty of celebrities in the stands
Foster and Hedison are not the only familiar faces in the audience. Director Sam Mendes with wife Alison Balsom, as well as pop veteran Cliff Richard and actor Stanley Tucci also appeared at the stadium hours before the match. And former Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock proudly showed off her baby bump alongside her husband André Gray. Only on Wednesday had she publicly announced her pregnancy in a video from her music studio.
