The Heroes Festival Freiburg has announced the first names for its anniversary edition next year and has simultaneously opened advance ticket sales. As the organizers announced on Wednesday, Kool Savas, Montez, Soho Bani, Badmómzjay, GReeeN, Monet192, and OG Keemo, among others, will perform on September 10 and 11, 2027, at the Messe Freiburg venue. The first lineup is completed by 2LADE, Gianni Suave, PaulK, and Yung Yury.

With this, the organizers are responding to the postponement announced in March: Originally, the fifth Freiburg edition was supposed to take place in September 2026, but due to production-related requirements, it was pushed back by one year. The names now presented and the start of sales are seen as a signal for the festival's return to the Southwest.

From Kool Savas to OG Keemo

The lineup is headlined by Kool Savas, whom the organizers promote as one of the most influential figures in German rap history. According to the information, Montez stands for emotional songs and major live moments, while Soho Bani brings his sound between rap, pop, and urban influences.

The remaining acts also cover a broad spectrum according to the announcement: Badmómzjay is considered one of the important voices in German rap, GReeeN combines rap with reggae, and Monet192 focuses on melodic, urban sounds. With OG Keemo, one of the country's most artistically independent rappers is also on the list. Additional names are expected to follow in the coming months.

Two Ticket Categories

In parallel with the lineup announcement, official advance sales have started. For the launch, the organizers are offering two limited categories. The "First Love Buddy Bundle" includes two weekend tickets at 85 euros each and is aimed at those who want to travel together. The individual "First Love Weekend Ticket" is available at a starting price of 95 euros and is valid for both festival days.

For fans who already own a ticket for the canceled 2026 date, nothing changes: These tickets retain their full validity for 2027. Additionally, there will be a return option available. Those affected will receive details about the process and deadlines via email, according to the information.

The Heroes Festival tours through several locations in Germany. The series celebrated its premiere in Geiselwind, Bavaria, in 2017, has been visiting Freiburg since 2022, and has also taken place in Hannover and Allgäu, among other locations. The focus is on German rap and hip-hop. In Geiselwind, the festival will take place from June 17 to 19 next year.
