The cheerful Norwegian Wencke Myhre took the German schlager charts by storm in the '60s and '70s. Hits like “Er hat ein knallrotes Gummiboot” and her radiant TV appearances made her a darling of all of Germany. The Oslo native still performs today as the lively grande dame of schlager.
