Regensburg native Walter Röhrl made motorsport history as the first German rally world champion. A two-time world champion and four-time winner of the legendary Monte Carlo Rally, he is still regarded by many as the best rally driver of all time. Even past 75, the down-to-earth Bavarian still takes to the racetrack at full throttle.
