Rodrigo “Rod” González has been the bassist of the German cult band Die Ärzte since 1993. He was born in Chile, and his family fled the Pinochet dictatorship for Hamburg. The multi-instrumentalist has been shaping the sound of one of Germany's most popular rock bands ever since.
