Mikhail Baryshnikov

Mikhail Baryshnikov is considered one of the greatest ballet dancers in history and made headlines worldwide in 1974 with his spectacular defection from the Soviet Union. In the US, he became a star and the artistic director of American Ballet Theatre. The Riga native also stayed in the spotlight as an actor, including on “Sex and the City.”
