Jupp Derwall

As national coach, Jupp Derwall led the German national team to the European Championship title in 1980 and to the World Cup final two years later. The genial Rhinelander was regarded as a conciliator and later also celebrated great success with Galatasaray Istanbul. He died in 2007 at the age of 80.
