Black leather instead of sporty chic: At a fan event in Berlin on Monday, Zendaya (29) made her second appearance of the day in a revealing ensemble. Together with Tom Holland (30), the actress is currently promoting the movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which has taken them on a tour through several European cities.

The focus was a two-piece look entirely in black. The short leather top left her midriff bare and was apparently held together by a single button in the center. Zendaya paired it with low-slung leather skirt that reached to the floor and transitioned into an expansive train in the back. Tom Holland appeared in a dark suit, which he wore with a bright red shirt and matching tie.

Hidden References to the Film

The appearance was more than just a fashion statement. Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach had incorporated several allusions to Spider-Man into the outfits. The actress's striking blue earrings featured a spider web motif and ended in a long crystal drop. A ring also reportedly bore a web-like design. For Tom Holland, the theme was reflected in the form of a small spider on his tie.

On her left hand, Zendaya also showed off her much-discussed rings: alongside her engagement ring with an approximately five-carat diamond, a slim gold band was visible. She wore her short haircut slicked severely to the side, with dark, shimmering makeup.

Contrast to the Morning Look

The all-black outfit was a stark contrast to her first Berlin appearance that same day. For a photo session with a view of the TV tower, Zendaya had previously opted for a sporty-elegant look: a long-sleeved baseball-style shirt with the number 39 in bold red, paired with a checkered midi skirt in beige and brown tones.

The press tour falls during a special phase in the couple's private life. Tom Holland recently publicly confirmed that he and Zendaya secretly got married after years of rumors. Speaking to Esquire UK, the actor talked about his wife.

In the interview, Holland explained: "We can support each other in a way that only we can, because only we truly understand what it's like to lead this life." And further: "For me, I've found my person. She's my best friend, and I'm happier than I've ever been when I'm with her."

Stops on their joint tour had previously taken the couple to Amsterdam and Madrid. During their rare joint appearances, the two otherwise tend to be rather reserved with each other.
