Following Germany's World Cup exit, the tournament remains present on TV in this country. In the coming days, ARD and ZDF as well as the pay-per-view platform MagentaTV will broadcast the round of 16 and quarterfinal matches live, including the neighborhood duel between Portugal and Spain, co-host USA's appearance against Belgium, and the already confirmed quarterfinals France against Morocco and Norway against England. These are the networks showing the respective matches.

The Round of 16 Matches

This Monday, July 6, the World Cup features the Iberian duel between Portugal and Spain. Kickoff is at 9 PM German time, and the match will air on ZDF and additionally on MagentaTV. For both teams, it's a real test: Spain advanced to the round of 16 with a confident 3-0 victory against Austria, while Portugal previously prevailed 2-1 against Croatia.

In the night to Tuesday, July 7, the round of 16 match USA against Belgium follows. The game starts at 2 AM CEST and can be seen on Ersten as well as on MagentaTV. Before the match, the lifted suspension against US forward Folarin Balogun caused anger in the Belgian camp.

On Tuesday, July 7, two more round of 16 matches are on the schedule. Argentina faces Egypt at 6 PM, with the broadcast running on Ersten and on MagentaTV. At 10 PM, Switzerland against Colombia follows, also on Ersten and on MagentaTV. This match will determine who faces the winner of Argentina against Egypt in the quarterfinals.

The Already Confirmed Quarterfinal Matchups

The first confirmed quarterfinal will be contested by France and Morocco on Thursday, July 9. Kickoff is at 10 PM German time, and the match will air on Ersten and on MagentaTV.

On Saturday, July 11, the quarterfinal between Norway and England takes place. The match begins at 11 PM CEST; it will be broadcast on MagentaTV. The other knockout round dates are also already set: On Friday, July 10, the winner of Portugal against Spain faces the winner of the USA against Belgium match at 9 PM; the game will air on ZDF and on MagentaTV. In the night to Sunday, July 12, at 3 AM, the winners of Argentina against Egypt and Switzerland against Colombia will play against each other; this match can only be seen on MagentaTV. The two semifinals will take place on July 14 and 15, each at 9 PM, and will also be broadcast on free TV on ARD or ZDF as well as on MagentaTV. The final will be held on Sunday, July 19, at 9 PM and can be seen on ZDF as well as on MagentaTV.
