Wolke Hegenbarth (46) celebrated her eleventh anniversary with her husband Oliver Vaid with a loving post. Alongside a series of couple photos from recent years, the actress wrote: "11 years... just briefly today: in all the movement and the sometimes prevailing chaos, we always find our way back to each other. Quite remarkable somehow."
She then thanked her partner in English and with a laughing smiley for "being who you are and for taking on the challenge of being my accomplice - and also being the best father". She had also added text to the photos that read: "It's not about who you marry, it's about who you have children with!" For the last picture, which shows the couple sharing a moment by the sea next to their son Avi (6), the former "Mein Leben & Ich" actress wrote: "What we're best at: Traveling and showing Avi everything."
Oliver Vaid also expresses his gratitude
These are lines that not only touched many fans, but especially Oliver Vaid. He responded to Hegenbarth's post with the words: "It's crazy how fast time flies. I am very happy to take on the challenge." He went on to thank his wife for accepting his "quirks" and always being understanding. Well-known people also commented on the post. Fellow actor Simon Böer, for example, wished: "Congrats, you dear lovers! All the BEST!!!" Entrepreneur Stephanie Dettman wrote: "Sweet. Everything! Happy Anniversary, dear ones."
Marlene Lufen amuses with AI comment
The couple was amused by a comment from presenter Marlene Lufen. She had emphasized: "Almost too beautiful to be true. I briefly checked for AI. But no, you just fit together incredibly well. Beautiful to see this love!" Hegenbarth even shared the comment in her story and accompanied it with loud laughter. They were highly amused, she told the Sat.1 presenter.
They kept their wedding secret for six years
Actress Wolke Hegenbarth has been in a relationship with Oliver Vaid since 2015. They got married in Berlin in August 2019 - just shortly before the birth of their son. However, they only revealed this years later, in August 2025 in an interview with the magazine "Gala". The couple deliberately chose discretion. No witnesses, no friends were present at the civil ceremony, "only the closest family members". They also didn't exchange rings. "We wanted to celebrate our actual wedding later in India. That's why we initially told almost no one about it", said Vaid.
The big celebration in India, the homeland of his father, had to be postponed due to a bereavement and the coronavirus pandemic. At some point, however, the couple still wants to make their dream of an Indian wedding come true.
