Ronja Forcher (30) has lost around 14 kilograms in recent months - and according to her own statement, completely without the currently much-discussed weight loss injection. In an interview with the "Münchner Merkur", the actress made it clear that there is no quick trick behind the transformation, but rather a lifestyle that has developed over years.
For the 30-year-old, the biggest difference comes from a ritual that she practices together with her husband. "We have developed many habits that simply do us incredibly well and that we implement with great joy. Sauna has become a big topic for us. I'm now a convinced sauna-goer and go four times a week", she explained.
Forcher describes the shared sauna sessions, cooling down and resting as an almost meditative routine that gives her strength and also awakens the desire to do even more good things for her own body.
Eating more consciously instead of seeking comfort
The native Tyrolean has also rethought her approach to food. For a long time, food had a different function for her. "I've always lived vegetarian, eaten a lot of vegetables and cooked fresh food. But as it goes, when traveling, during filming it has to be quick. Today I eat more consciously", said the actress.
Through podcasts and books, she has intensively studied women's health and nutrition, especially the importance of proteins for muscles and bones. Her role models are in her own family: "When I look at my grandma and my mom, I see how essential that is."
The third component is sports. For about three years, Forcher has been intensively training CrossFit - an athletic discipline with lots of strength training and weightlifting, which has become a fixed part of her daily routine.
An early loss that still resonates today
In the same conversation, the actress also spoke about a turning point that goes far back. In childhood, she lost her best friend Sarah, who suffered from an incurable illness. She found support at that time in the work she had known since childhood: Forcher has been in front of the camera since the age of five.
Professionally, things continue for the "Bergdoktor" star. Filming for the 20th season of the ZDF series has begun.
